2025 marks the centenary of quantum mechanics, a scientific revolution that has shaped modern technology and our understanding of the universe. Recognizing this milestone, the United Nations has declared 2025 as the International Year of Quantum Science and Technology (IYQ). In Kerala, the Kerala Sastra Sahitya Parishad (KSSP) and LUCA Science Portal are leading yearlong celebrations, featuring educational programs, exhibitions, and awareness campaigns to engage the public in quantum science.

The initiative includes:

  • Courses & Workshops – A four-week structured program covering foundational and advanced quantum concepts.
  • Quantum Exhibitions – Hands-on demonstrations and displays across 30 college campuses.
  • Talks & Articles – 100 expert talks and published articles explaining quantum mechanics.
